The Power In Being Grateful

To be grateful is a very powerful act that many people take for granted and even forsake the action; even I along the way at times had forgotten the significance of being grateful. We are all born with greatness in us; however it up to us to feed that greatness that is inside of us. There are many things in our life that will come to steal that greatness that will cause us to forget our purpose, but it is our gratefulness that brings us out of the despair.

Thinking about the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1-23); He went about sowing seeds some let the cares and worries of life choke the seed out of them, others it was burnt by the sun because it never took root, but the one who took the seed and allowed it to be buried in their heart prospered and flourished.

Life is a gift; it should be cherished because there are so many who are not afforded this opportunity of life. There are so many who never make it in life, they die early in life (some physically and some mentally), some life is cut off early, to never experience this life to even be grateful. So for us that do it is imperative that we use our life and time wisely. Do not allow this world to still your joy, but remember why you came to the world; don’t forget why you are here.

If you think you have no purpose are do not know what your purpose is, I guarantee you if you would start being thankful and thanking God for your life, start being thankful for every little thing you receive you will find your way. You will start being a magnet for blessings and your divine purpose will began to be drawn to you.

I believe gratefulness is born from adversity, if you never had adversity and things that come against you to break you in life how you would know how effective gratefulness is in your life. Don’t focus on what has gone wrong in your life; rather focus on the opportunity you have to gain in your life.

Gratefulness despite of creates success. No matter what comes against you, no matter who tells you no, no matter the hate that comes your way, no matter what you lose in the process, if you come out with gratefulness you will not go without, you will not fail, you will not lose, but you will overcome and be victorious.

We all have obstacles that we have had to overcome. Many people have faced abuse, been molested, gone through divorce, being rejected, but what separates the one who continues in success and the one that gives in to failure is gratefulness. Despite what has happened in their life they are still grateful for life and recognize they were born to win.

Blessings,

Endia
